So I'll put the interesting part of this journal first, in the hopes that people will read at least this. This is the part that deserves to be read anyway, the quizzes are just to amuse me and waste time...

Does anyone else ADORE Filmmovement?!? For those of you who don't know what it is(and I've only just recently discovered it myself, so I appologize if I get this wrong. Please correct me if I do.) it's a "club" for lack of a better word, that sends once a month a foreign indie movie to you. I've seen 1.5 so far(my town library subscribes) and they're actually really really good. Each one also comes with a short movie of the month.

The first I watched was AMAZING. 'The Rage in Placid Lake' which is an Australian film about a guy named Placid Lake and his struggle to balance his awfully odd parents and upbringing with his desire to be normal and get far in life. He also learns how to fly. Sort of.

The second one I just finished. Unfortunately, the copy I have is scratched and it skipped about 45 minutes of it... I sort of missed a lot of plot... 'The Way I Spent The End Of The World'. It's Romanian. It's good too, from what I got of it. And I never knew how similar to French/Spanish Romanian was...

Anyway, if you like good films and want to feel smart telling your friends you watched a Czhechoslovakian film last night, check it out.
